1 Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine!
Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine!
Heir of salvation, purchase of God,
born of his Spirit, washed in his blood.
Refrain:
This is my story, this is my song,
praising my Savior all the day long.
This is my story, this is my song,
praising my Savior all the day long.
2 Perfect communion, perfect delight,
visions of rapture now burst on my sight.
Angels descending bring from above
echoes of mercy, whispers of love. [Refrain]
3 Perfect submission, all is at rest.
I in my Savior am happy and bless’d,
watching and waiting, looking above,
filled with his goodness, lost in his love. [Refrain]
Nice song! ❤
Wow. I am so delighted to see you post. How are you all doing? Did you finally finish the house from a few years back? Did you all get through without catching covid? Have your kids passed you in height yet? Both of my grandchildren are now taller than I am.
Very happy to read your words Ms.Elizabeth!
We are doing well; been in our home for three years now. Enjoying some outdoors space with “Dexter” cows, chickens and a growing orchard/garden.
The kids have grown so much!!! Our son is officially taller than me at 5’8(he’s almost 13) and our daughter is almost 5ft and just turned 11. They are both still a delight as we continue to watch them grow.
How have you been?
We are good. My granddaughter who has been home schooled all her life is going to go to a Christian high school for her sophomore year. She wanted to be around more kids. My grandson is still content with home schooling.
Wonderful song!
Yes sir!
It’s one of the many hymns that reminds me of the Hope I/We have in Christ.
