One sided love?

table-1558811

A lover’s heart

Holds on tight

As his love “fades” away;

She can’t remember

She won’t remember

She will never know again

He loves her so!

  1. My dearest college friend has advanced dementia. She still dances with her husband every night when he visits her. She can still sense his love though she stopped speaking a long time ago.

    1. That’s very sad. I watched my husband’s grandpa fade with dementia; not recognizing the people that loved him. Even his bride of 60 years. It’s beautiful though to not give up on a spouse or friend that may have no idea who we are. To love them the best we know how.
