Our Life

Grandpa (Tell Me ’bout the Good Old Days) – McMillan Family

We had an amazing thanksgiving weekend with our family. Amongst all the beautiful moments, our baby girl wanted to sing with her papa. Over the years he has played guitar to the grand babies and I know that those memories are for a life time. Our boy loves drumming and oh well, he took the part in this beautiful duet.

It’s just beautiful sharing moments like these that can never be compared to anything else in this world. I am thankful for the love our children share with their papa(Grandpa)

    1. I did not write the lyrics Miss Elizabeth. But if I could choose words to write for a little one to share with a grandparent, I would choose these exact words. They have such deep meaning that we especially as millennials ought to listen to. I feel like our generation has failed when it comes to family/relationships. We need constant reminders. The song is by the Judds (when music was art and had meaning)

  1. So touching! I love that song too. I used to sing it as The Judds’ album would play to my little one when pregnant and then after he arrived. How precious to see and hear them singing with their Papa with such affection. ❤ God loves you!
