A mother’s heart.

“I was there before you were child.”

“The laughter you give, I prayed for.”

“The tears you shed, I feared they would be” she whispered.

“The woman you are; half me and half your father, I knew you would become.”

“When I carried you my child, I prayed bit by bit into your future seasons” she said.

“As I held you in the middle of the night, I watched a face of a jewel to the world” her mama went on…

“Child; child of mine, as you face today, remember that I have been there before.”

“When tomorrow seems uncertain, pray and leave it to Him for I had to do so as well.” Her Mama noted.
