Talk about simple yet as healthy as it gets; packed with crazy amounts of nutrients. One can call this guacamole but I technically won’t because guacamole has it’s own specific glory.
So if you know for a fact that cooking is not your thing, here is my sisterly advice, start a friendship with avocados. I promise they will save the day.
This mash can be served on toast for breakfast, as a side with your enchiladas, as a dip, over a baked sweet potato (my favorite way to eat guacamole), as a spread for a wrap and the list is endless. Your creativity will be your limit…..
So here we go
You need
- 3 avocados(sliced and core taken out)
- 2 clove of garlic
- 1/4 tsp lime juice
- Pinch of sea salt
- Cherry tomatoes (cut in half)
How to
- Scoop avocado into preferred bowl and add everything else except tomatoes
- Smash with a fork
- Add tomatoes
- Gently mix
Enjoy!
Yum! I LOVE avocados, sometimes I bake them with cheese and seasonings in the middle as a replacement for baked potatoes, but this sounds even better! Thank you so much!
That sounds really good. 💝
So delicious and great for little ones too!
Absolutely delicious. I have been feeding my little ones lots of avocados from the time they started eating solid food. If I were to advise any new mom on what food to feed their little one, it would be avocado all the way.
Yummy…Looks really delicious! 🙂
Thank you Carol. It is simple and delicious.
Now I want guac for breakfast 🙂
Hahaha. I always want guac. Guac on toast with slices of a good tomato, red onion and a sprinkle of sea salt…..I get my “wings” for the day.
Yummm 🙂
I mashed one the other day-a perfect food:-)
Avocado is such a giving fruit. The options on how to eat it are endless.😁
Try making avocado ice cream .An alternative is mashed avocado slices in a glass filled with sugar and evaporated milk. Chill this concoction first before eating. Very refreshing.
Avocado iceream sounds really good.
Its a common flavor in my previous home country while growing up.
It definitely sounds good. 😁
Lovely spread !
My husband brought in the last tomato yesterday before our first real frost last night. Latest we have ever had our first frost, but we sure enjoyed those tomatoes. We can’t grow avocados, but we love them with tomatoes.
I wish we could grow avocados here in our area too. The flavor of avocados and tomatoes with a little sea salt is very satisfying.
Avocados are a favorite in our house and a staple for my little ones! ❤
One can not go wrong with avocados.💝
