  1. Hmmm. Most times we are full of saying that God is loving and merciful, which he is, but we usually forget the conditions.

    1. I am sure you will agree with me that God’s love for any one of us is UN-conditional, he shows favour to all equally, preferring no-one over another. What we humans forget are the consequences He has ordained for all our actions, good or bad, We reap as we sow. Also the fullness of our human reaping comes not in this world, but the next. We should not be seeking the completion of our desires in this world/life as this one is temporary and brief. we should all seek to do what He wills for us, even if that sometimes brings with it pain and suffering as it did Our Lord.

We sometimes forget to love Him as He loves us, usually when we are ‘loving’ ourselves or our family more than we are loving Him, when we follow our own ego/thought/desire instead of following His will for us.

      love.

      1. Absolutely. God’s love for us is unconditional. He chose us even before we knew His as our Savior. He has always been sovereign even when we denied Hum as our salvation. He has provided even when we doubted His hand in our lives. Knowing how sinful we are, He chose to love us in that state and only through Him we are changed. He that had no sin became sin for me/us.
You are right, when we focus on ourselves, we do what pleases us instead of focusing on what He has commanded us to do. To love Him like He calls us to. To honor Him and worship Him.

  2. So very true. I believe it comes from a submissive heart. I know there have been times in my own life when this has been a struggle. He always loves us unconditionally, but He desires a deeper relationship with us, one of true fellowship.

    1. Absolutely. Christ desires for us to delight in Him constantly. He desires for us to enjoy communion in Him. He desires for us to have the joy of knowing we are free and have life in Him. To truly love Him above our “precious lives” or rather ” comfort”. Thank you Miss Deborah.
