I wrote a “script”
For your obituary
A well deserved
Note for the world
To know you
A beautiful creation;
With love to give
A smile to share
Daring to outshine “Romeo and Juliet”
Mother of 4
Mother to many…
A morning glory
Beauty of all seasons
Just this once
Let me write
And re write
The obituary of u!
In memory of my mama.

This was very nicely written. I lost my mom in November 2016, so I felt the words of your poem.

So beautiful. What a tribute! One of the hardest things that I had to do was write my mother’s obituary. It was at that point that I realized that I should have asked more questions about her life. Wonderful post!
❤. Having been 3 when my mama passed, the only memory I ever had of her was her “empty shell”.Over the years I have sought to know who she was through the people that knew her so I could know that part of her as well. So sorry for your loss my dearest. Hugs💝
