Night Fall

McDonald Observatory, Tx

Dear night fall,

Deny me not

The pleasure of day light

The birds

Chirp in the air

The bees

Buzz through sunflower fields

The ducks

Quack by the pond

Dear night fall,

My eyes

Cry out for day light

Not night Fall

Crickets chirp

And frogs croak to scare me

Prairie dogs bark

Out on the land

Raccoons trill

Around the orchards.

Night fall,

Open your curtain

For my day light.
