Night Fall

100_0875
McDonald Observatory, Tx

Dear night fall,

Deny me not

The pleasure of day light

When

The birds

Chirp in the air

And

The bees

Buzz through sunflower fields

While

The ducks

Quack by the pond

.

Dear night fall,

My eyes

Cry out for day light

Not night Fall

When

Crickets chirp

And frogs croak to scare me

Then

Prairie dogs bark

Out on the land

While

Raccoons trill

Around the orchards.

Night fall,

Open your curtain

For my day light.
