Children become adults
In between seasons
Of
Memories made;
Collected
Tossed
Or perhaps
Left to linger.
A word
Becomes words
In between years
Of
love
Pain
Or rejection.
We become seasoned
In between seasons
Of life
About life
Living
Leaving
and learning
In between…

Interesting structure.
Thank you 🙏
You must be referring to teenagers or adolescents—bigger versions of kids(but technically no longer a child) but not big enough yet to be considered as adults.
Absolutely!. The plight of being in between; growing with all the cuts and smacks added.
I like your poem, slightly disjointed, slightly disorganised, slightly enigmatic ~ just like youngsters. ❤
