 her mercy

hourglass-695275_1920
To stay

When it hurt!

Drowning at her mercy

Not certain about my moves

To either go or stay

Not knowing if I was living

Or dying where I was living

Would leaving help me live

or would it be a gamble into dying?

I thought then...

Her mercy was all I had

To live longer than my will

You know,

My smile was her mercy

My hope was her mercy

My dreams were her mercy

My options were her mercy

Leaving or living was her mercy

So she said!
