The very 1st day of May comes with one thing on my mind; Mother’s day! I won’t deny the fact that I desire to be celebrated just as much as any other mother.
It’s very beautiful when I am reminded that my daily unconditional love for my children/family is not in vein and I am not tucked away in a dark corner. I enjoy knowing that my little ones believe that I matter and what I do out love for them is appreciated.
Of course my babies remind me that I matter almost every single day with hand written notes, endless hugs, wet kisses, endless “I love you” and for that I am truly grateful.
Personally, I am not the one to keep endless wish lists for every occasion but I do only for mother’s day and yes this a hint for my children (or call it husband). I absolutely like getting pampered on that day and yes I will happily unwrap the lovely gifts presented to me in any shape or size.
Again though, real hugs, real words, a silly note beats them all.
But, while I am at it, I will lay out my yearlong hint list that has been presented to my beloved and maybe perhaps it will have you thinking of ideas for your own mama.

It’s fun to get a better idea about you from your list. I chuckled over the “paperless towels.” For years I was able to use old cloth diapers for chores. I guess they were “paperless” too.
Paperless towels save so much though and can be any fabric one desires.

Yes I agree…“What describes a mother to me is not the ability to bear children but having the heart to love them” Mother’s Day’s meaning has changed for me. In March of 2016 my mother died, then in April 2016 my only son died…so “what describes a mother to me is NOT the hope of being remembered by the ones I love, but that as a mom that I continue to remember the sweet notes, cards and treasured times we laughed together.”

I enjoyed looking at your wish list. My list might include a new computer, real computer desk, and chocolate in any form. Since my husband barely uses a computer, I’m on my own in that department, but I can count on him to provide the chocolate.

My babies will probably just take a pass on the whole list thing; they prefer presenting me with handmade cards for mother’s day. I love all the above though 🌹. You are definitely my long lost sis for sure😁❤
I hear you! My girls will likely go the way of the handmade card as well! Although this year, I think butterfly cupcakes filled to the brim with raspberry cream are on the cards as well!
