I have danced in the Storm
A tune most dare to dance to
A tune too high for many
I have touched burning coals
A way to survive
A need to keep on
Danced to the lion’s tune
Sat in a tiger’s mouth
Dinned at a paython’s mercy
I have…
Danced in the wind
Danced under the stars
Danced over the moon
I have…
Sunk then floated
Lost then won
Hurt then healed
I!

A poem that perfectly encapsulates the highs and lows of life, and how we must celebrate them and learn from them ❤ btw I've nominated you for the Blogger Recognition award, which you can check out here: http://bit.ly/recogDTJ

“Dined at a python’s mercy” makes me think of “you prepare a table for me in the presence of my enemies.”
You are absolutely right Elizabeth. Thank-you for that insight 🌹
