Isaiah 64:8
8 But now, O Lord, you are our Father;
we are the clay, and you are our potter;
we are all the work of your hand.
The Potter makes whatever he pleases of his clay
The Potter makes it perfect for his pleasure
The Potter chooses how to use what he makes
The Potter knows why he sets what he makes where he sets it
The Potter delights in using his creation
The Potter can choose to give rest to what he has made
The Potter can choose to keep using what he has made
For only the Potter knows when, how and why!
He makes it
He loves it
He uses it
He gives it rest!
