I don’t know about you, but Winnie the Pooh is one of those movies that I know I will still want to watch when I am 80 or so God Willing. I love this movie, it brings out the kid in me every single time. More so, Pooh’s goofiness/sense of humor and words that carry so much meaning if you care to listen are some of the reasons i still enjoy watching this movie. Some of my favorites are;
-
”If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day, so I never have to live without you.”
-
”My spelling is Wobbly. It’s good spelling but it Wobbles, and the letters get in the wrong places.”
-
“A day without a friend is like a pot without a single drop of honey left inside.“
-
“If there ever comes a day when we can’t be together keep me in your heart, I’ll stay there forever.“
-
“A little Consideration, a little thought for others, makes all the difference.“
-
“Did you ever stop to think, and forget to start again?“
-
“It is more fun to talk with someone who doesn’t use long, difficult words but rather short, easy words like “What about lunch?”
The stories of Winnie the Pooh contain a basic kindness. That’s an important lesson both for children and adults. ❤
That’s very true Anna💕
I love Pooh bear! He’s such a special little bear…with lots of wisdom. ‘Rumbly in my tummy’ was a phrase we used around our house a lot. There’s always ‘time for something sweet’!
“My Pooh Bear”. I literally owned a hug one from before I met my husband. Then came the “jealous” game between my hubby and “Pooh Bear’. Husband had to win.
Yes, husbands need to win in that situation! It makes for a better marriage in the long run! 😉
