Today, as Christians we all celebrate the birth of Christ our Savior. We do this with singing, reading of Scripture and many more forms of praises around family and friends. It is beautiful and we can a feel the love.
As we celebrate, we ought to think of the reasons as well as the outcome of Christ’s coming (since Christ was indeed begotten and not made). In Romans 5:1-8 we see a difference in man from Christ’s coming;
- We have peace with God through the perfect sacrifice in Christ’s dying.
- We have Hope of the glory of God thus looking forward to being in His presence which implies a certain surety of our salvation through Christ Jesus.
- Even a midst all the suffering in this world, through Christ we have attained Joy. True Joy in Him!!
- We have full assurance of God’s love(as also described in John 3:16
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
As we continue through the coming year, my hope and prayer is that we will daily live in His love and Grace while seeking Him without seizing.
