I read this post on Michelle’s blog and i felt like she was reading my mind.The true meaning of christmas is what we hope to teach our children as well.Personally,growing up in Uganda East Africa,i had never heard of Santa nor did we have tons of gifts under the tree for us to open on Christmas morning.We were always handed a new outfit as one of the very few brand new(not thrift-ed) to wear to church…..and it was more of a need than anything. Not that we object to gift giving,but want to focus on what Christmas truly is and teaching it to our children.Christ being born into lowly humanity because he loved/loves us so dearly.
