Rasberry Blueberry Jam

-2 cups frozen rasberries
-1cup fresh blueberries
-2/3 cup honey
-juice of 1 lemon

1.Place a small saucepan over medium heat
2.Add frozen berries to cook until they are heated up and juice begins to come out from the berries.
3.Then add bleuberries,honey and lemon juice.
4.Mix well and cook for about 5-7 minutes then reduce heat and cook for another 5-7 minutes until berries are fully broken down into a well combined mixture
5.The longer the jam simmers on low,the more it thickens.(simmer for about 15-20 minutes)

Makes 1(8 ounce) jar of jam.

  1. My mom used to make this, but not mixed fruits. I think it was raspberry, but she would get engrossed in reading a book, and forget about it, and it would wind up burning and sticking to the pan.

      1. Well,it is certainly something I have never forgotten. One time it was so burnt the pan had to be thrown away. I used to tell her, you have to pay attention. You can’t really walk away from something like that. You need to keep your eyes on it.

      2. I usually would remind her, but that one time I happened to be outside, it was in the Summer. Many times I would just do it myself. She would always say, she was just going to get up and do it. Ha, not when she was reading those hot romance novels.
