MAMA SUSAN’S BANANA BREAD

Nothing beats a good warm piece of homemade banana bread and a cup of coffee or juice for juice lovers or i would even go for water.Well,that’s just me.I took an old recipe and modified it to suit our family’s growing health habits and came up with this recipe.It’s really moist,guilt free and very delicious;

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F(175 degrees C) Spray a 8″ X 8″ pan with avocado oil(i used this or any spray oil of preference)
  1. 2cups white unbleached flour
  2. 1 tsp baking soda
  3. 1/4tsp sea salt[i used “nature’s first sea salt”
  4. 2/4cups cane sugar
  5. 1/2 unrefined coconut oil
  6. 2 free range organic eggs
  7. 4oz unsweetened applesauce
  8. 2 very ripe organic bananas or regular(but i used organic)
  • Combine the dry ingredients in one bowl
  • Then mash the banana and mix in the rest of the wet ingredients
  • Combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients
  • Pour in pan and bake for 40 minutes or until tooth pick comes out dry. ENJOY!
